Kiwi & Wild Honey Detox Smoothie

Green smoothies are all the rage these days but what if we jazzed it up a bit? In this kiwi and local honey smoothie, we are giving our liver and gut lots of love while also kicking these spring allergies! For a little added anti-inflammatory bonus, I added some ginger too! Who knew all of these flavors would pair so well together? Blend it up for yourself, grab a straw and enjoy! You can thank me later!



Ingredients:


  • 4 chopped and peeled kiwi

  • 10 organic mint leaves

  • 1/8 tsp of organic ground ginger

  • 1 tbsp of wild local honey (local within a 50 mile radius is key if you are an allergy sufferer!)

  • 1 cup of ice

  • 1 cup of water


Directions:


Grab a blender, toss the ingredients in and blend it up until you reach a smoothie like consistency! Drink immediately or store in the fridge. Enjoy!
