Summer may be coming to an end but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy gorgeous, vibrant, antioxidant filled smoothies that will give your body a boost and your skin a glow! Dragon fruit, the star ingredient of this recipe, contains flavonoids, vitamin C, and prebiotics to boost your gut health and immunity! Ingredients:
4 oz of plain coconut milk yogurt
1 cup of chopped dragon fruit (Pitaya foods is my go-to pre-chopped brand)
1/3 cup of pineapple juice
1/4 tsp of cardamom
1 pinch of pink Himalayan salt
1 tbsp of agave
1 cup of ice (optional)
Directions:
Grab your blender and toss in all of the above no particular order and then puree it till you reach a smoothie like texture. Then, chill it in the fridge for later or add in the ice cubes and enjoy it on the spot!
